NVIDIA Launches AI Enterprise Suite Globally: Making AI Accessible for Every Industry

Hundreds of thousands of companies worldwide will now have the ability to run AI on VMware vSphere and industry-standard servers thanks to NVIDIA software. A comprehensive software set of AI tools and frameworks is now available from NVIDIA, enabling VMware vSphere users to virtualize AI workloads on NVIDIA-Certified SystemsTM.

During the epidemic, companies are adopting AI more and more as they realize the benefits of automation and big data analytics. AI is vital to their digital transformation initiatives. According to a separate McKinsey survey, 30 percent of firms are running AI pilots, and nearly half have integrated at least one AI capability into their typical business operations. A new report from the International Data Corporation (IDC) predicts that corporations will spend a combined $342 billion on artificial intelligence (AI) software, hardware, and services in 2021.

In addition to NVIDIA-Certified Systems for VMware vSphere with NVIDIA AI Enterprise, leading manufacturers such as Dell Technologies, GIGABYTE, HPE, Inspur, Lenovo, and Supermicro offer NVIDIA-Certified Systems that are optimized for AI workloads. Also, today, Dell Technologies unveiled VxRail as the first hyper-converged platform to be certified by NVIDIA AI Enterprise as a certified NVIDIA-Certified System (CCS).

A new validation of Domino Data Lab’s Domino Enterprise MLOps Platform with NVIDIA AI Enterprise, which works on NVIDIA-certified systems, will enable data scientists to run their AI workloads more efficiently.

The first wave of AI was fueled by specialized infrastructure that concentrated adoption on industry pioneers. Now that NVIDIA software is available for VMware and standard servers, organizations worldwide may utilize NVIDIA’s transformational power.

As AI applications become more vital, clients want to operate them on existing business infrastructure for manageability, scalability, security, and governance. VMware vSphere running NVIDIA AI Enterprise provides a certified, AI-Ready enterprise platform that’s straightforward to adopt and maintain.

Customers Simplify, Scale with NVIDIA AI Enterprise

In collaboration with NVIDIA, Domino Data Lab is strengthening its product integrations by enabling the Domino Enterprise MLOps Platform to run on a broader range of NVIDIA GPUs and validating it for NVIDIA AI Enterprise. It will allow hundreds of thousands of companies to accelerate data science at scale.

NVIDIA AI Enterprise is used by dozens of enterprises in the automotive, education, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, and technology industries. Consequently, a wide range of applications for data science, conversational AI, computer vision, recommender systems, etc., may now be developed by midsize enterprises using the world’s most extensively used servers.

Cerence Inc., a prominent provider of conversational AI for automotive and mobility markets with approximately 400 million Cerence-powered vehicles deployed worldwide, was one of the first companies to adopt NVIDIA AI Enterprise. The company is utilizing AI Enterprise to create intelligent in-car aides and digital copilots.

The University of Pisa, an Italian public research university, uses NVIDIA software to enable HPC and AI training to enhance scientific studies across a wide range of fields.

NVIDIA AI Enterprise allows users to enhance the support for the academics who use data analytics, Artificial Intelligence, deep and machine learning while making these applications easy to deploy and maintain. According to the testing, these latest collaborations between NVIDIA and VMware give the GPU-accelerated virtualized infrastructure a near-bare-metal performance.

Exceptional AI performance on mainstream servers

AI workloads can be cost-effectively supported by IT professionals who utilize VMware vSphere to operate traditional corporate applications using the same tools to manage large-scale data centers and hybrid clouds.

A wide range of NVIDIA GPUs is included in NVIDIA-Certified Systems for NVIDIA AI Enterprise, from Atos to Dell Technologies, from GIGABYTE to Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Inspur, Lenovo, and Supermicro. Several alternatives for scale-out, multi-node, AI application performance on vSphere are practically indistinguishable from implementing bare-metal servers with these standard acceleration technologies.

Availability

NVIDIA channel partners are now available globally, including Atea, Carahsoft, Compucenter, Insight Enterprises, SoftServe, and SVA System Vertrieb Alexander GmbH.

As low as $2,000 per CPU socket for a year can be obtained with a subscription license that includes Business Standard Support (five days a week, nine hours a day). $3,595 is the cost of perpetual licenses, and support must be purchased in addition. NVIDIA AI experts are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with Business Critical Support.
